Over the past two years, Lucarne has been studying towards a postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy through the University of Liverpool in the UK — and we're proud to share that she has now graduated with First Class Honours!
Her journey included numerous placement days and intensive block courses across Waikato, Auckland, Brisbane, and the UK, not to mention many late nights dedicated to assignments and presenting at 2am Journal Clubs (thanks to the UK time zone!).
Looking ahead, Lucarne plans to begin offering animal physiotherapy services, with a focus on both horses and dogs — although all furry companions are welcome!
In the meantime, she’s excited to refocus on her work with humans and is looking forward to returning to the competition arena with her horse, Fred, in the upcoming season.
