MASSAGE THERAPY

Involves the application of massage to meet the performance needs of the athlete or physically active person. Regular sports massage may help prevent injury by improving the condition of the muscles and help correct muscle imbalances, overuse and postural issues. Thus preventing future injuries and improving the efficiency of your muscles, to enhance your performance.

RELAXATION MASSAGE

A gentle form of massage that uses slow,smooth, gliding strokes.  The purpose is to nurture and calm your mind,body and emotions with a deeply relaxing massage.  Reduces stress and tension in your muscles and promotes a healthy sense of well-being. Using gentle techniques that stimulates blood flow to relaxes the nervous system and alleviates stress. 

COCONUT OIL MASSAGE

Coconut oil is fantastic for keeping skin and connective tissues strong and supple and is regarded as one of the best natural ingredient available for our skin. Coconut oil is a natural product with no chemicals. It promotes healing due to coconut oil having an antibacterial and antifungal effect. The light texture and aroma of coconut oil means it has low irritant effect. Your skin is left nourished, moisturised and protected.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage ­– to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and make you feel good. Each treatment is tailored specifically to the needs of individual pregnant women and their changing bodies.  Clients are side-lied with pillows, wedges, or a full-length body pillow for support.

Hannah Newlands

Hannah is our resident masseuse.  She is also founder of Body Performance Clinic with her husband Craig Newlands.  

In 2013 Hannah studied Massage Therapy at WINTEC, jointly winning the Top Student Award.

Hannah’s client base ranges from professional athletes to people seeking treatment for headaches, neck pain or stress.

Hannah loves that she can achieve results through massage.  She loves helping people heal from muscle tension and stress or recover from injury.
